Midtown Family Medicine was acquired by LiveActive Primary Care in February 2025 and is now operating as LiveActive Primary Care – Midtown. While Dr. Gary Thompson retired in December 2025, the practice continues to serve patients at the original location - 3406 Broadway, Kansas City, MO.

Some patients have received letters from insurance carriers about Dr. Thompson’s retirement or provider network status. In some cases, those letters may have created confusion. Our Midtown office remains open, and our team is here to help patients continue their care.
